WELCOME TO SLEEPY CREEK FAMILY CAMPGROUND ON THE POTOMAC
Sleepy Creek Family Campground on the Potomac is over 50 acres of private campground located in Morgan County West Virginia, beautifully situated on the banks of Sleepy Creek and the Potomac River! It is located in the small unincorporated town of Sleepy Creek, just outside of Berkeley Springs. The campground hosts around 200 permanent lots that are rented on a yearly basis.
Short term primitive tent sites and dry RV sites with electric hookup are available to non-members.

The waters are calm and perfect in this area for swimming, floating, fishing, boating, and more. Take your tube, kayak or canoe and drop off at the Hancock Boat ramp
and enjoy a slow 4+ hour float or fish your way to the river rock beach at the campground. Please contact us for pricing and additional information.
The campground has many great amenities, including pavilions for picnic use and a large playground for the kids. The campground is also equipped with a large permanent covered stage.
The campground does also accommodate limited non-member short term camping. There are plans to expand the campground with more yearly sites and additional non-member short term camping areas! Non-member short term camping can be arrange by contacting the campground.
The campground also hosts several activities, such as Bingo and Karaoke, that are for members and their guest only. There are also pot luck dinners, fishing tournaments, pig roasts, and much more!
The campground is accessible to many nearby towns and only 2 hours from Washington DC and Baltimore MD. Berkeley Springs offers visitors a unique small town charm, shopping, dining, and more. Other nearby towns include including Hancock MD, Hagerstown MD, Cumberland MD, Shepherdstown WV, and Winchester VA!
The campground is easily accessible off of both Interstate 70 and 81; as well as US Routes 522 and 9.
All members, non-members, guests, and visitors must obey the campground rules and safety guidelines at all times.
